Who are we?
Smartcork Recycling is a grassroots program organized by a group of individuals looking to help reduce landfill waste by the recycling of natural & synthetic cork wine closures.

What are we doing with the cork?
Presently we are working on product development for both the natural and synethic cork. We are looking at green manufacturing here in North Carolina.

Where is Smartcork Recycling?
We are located in Greensboro, North Carolina. We hope to implement the program throughout North Carolina. Future plans would include South Carolina & Virginia.

When did Smartcork Recycling form?
We began Smartcork Recycling in March 2008. We are very pleased with the reponse to our program.

Why are we doing this?
We are doing this to have an environmental impact on landfill waste. We are confident we can eliminate tons of natural & synthetic cork from the landfill. Also we are looking forward to becoming a part of future 'green' product development. It's the green thing to do!

How can you be a part of Smartcork Recycling?
We have partnered with resturants, wineries, caterers, retail locations & festivals to recycle cork. Look for Smartcork Recycling containers & help recycle cork. Remember we save natural & synthetic cork.
